Too Many Connections Error (Also Unable to Connect to Destination (Win7 APs)




Once in a while, you will see a 'Too Many Connections' or a 'No more connections can be made to this computer' error in ShadowProtect, on Win7 appliances.
(We are told this can also present as "Unable to connet to Destination" error as well.)

The answer is to edit the two Reg keys below:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\LargeSystemCache - Set Value to 1

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters\Size - Set Value to 3

Reboot the System
